Abstract :
MORE ON the subject of technology-related collections (see my previous `After All?? in Vol 6 #3). Whereas some wealthy enthusiasts do manage to hoard old cars and military hardware, hardly anyone, not even my late friend Sir Peter Ustinov, seemed able to afford to collect aeroplanes. Several years ago, however, I made an important step towards starting such a collection. Not of planes, as such (I am still waiting for a longpromised salary increase, or ?? more likely ?? for a National Lottery jackpot), but rather of airlines. Or to be more precise, of airline advertising slogans.
