Abstract :
This paper presents a method for exploring communications capabilities of enhanced DS80C400 MAXIM/Dallas microcontroller, as a LAN server. Gravity mass lies in the implementation of several Java layers, working on server and client platforms. The LAN server is the MAXIM-Microcontroler System TINI, which itself is written in Java. Further in this paper are described results the experiment with TINI system operating on microcontroller as a LAN server. Presented method is suitable for software implementations for various communications protocols.
