Abstract :
The main optical transport systems modeling approaches were evaluated and discussed in this paper. An influence of the limitation factors, such as maximal-transmission rate, regeneration distance, and link capacity of optical fibre was modeled by means of the spectral multiplexing of optical channels technology.
