  • Abstract
    Two-band differential luminescence thermometry is enabled by a 760-μm long section of Yb3+, Er3+-codoped fiber in a fully integrated fiber-optic system. Temperature measurements up to 1100°C with sensitivities of up to 1.4×10-3 K-1 are demonstrated.
