Abstract :
We propose a novel adaptive call admission control (CAC) policy, which can adjust the CAC threshold dynamically according to the current traffic load in local and neighboring cells and handoff users density by employing the equivalent capacity demand estimation and fuzzy guard channel capacity estimator. The results of computer simulation indicate the method is more efficient and simpler than previous policies.
