Abstract :
In this paper analysis and simulation of the eigenmode fields of two sandwich coupled slot-lines with ferrite and dielectric layers are carried out by using the finite element method with edge elements. Based on the analysis and simulation, different devices such as switches and four-port circulators, as well as directional couplers could be constructed by selecting the appropriate operating frequency, coupling length and bias magnetic field.
