Abstract :
When too many loads are connected to a busbar, aggregation of the loads is essential to reduce the number of simultaneous equations and execute simulations within an acceptable time in a power system stability analysis. This paper proposes a novel approach to combine loads at a busbar. The method has two distinguishing features. One is to include the voltage characteristic of static condensers separately from that of the loads. The other is to include the series impedance between a busbar and a load. The accuracy of the method is confirmed to be satisfactory by simulations
