Abstract
This paper describes the construction, magnetic flux flow and advantages of the novel energy efficient equilateral triangular 3 phase transformer. The EEET 3 phase transformer has triangular shape yoke at top and bottom of the transformer. Both yokes are connected by 3 numbers of silicon core limbs. Primary and secondary coils are placed in each limb. In this novel design transformer, silicon core consumption is reduced, no load loss is less, footing area is reduced and cooling oil consumption is also less.
