  • Abstract
    This paper investigates the synchronization of chaotic oscillation, viz. Colpitts chaotic oscillator by nonlinear control method. Our theorem on synchronization for Colpitts oscillator is established using Lyapunov stability theory. The essential property of a chaotic oscillator is not asymptotically stable, it has been established that synchronization of two chaotic oscillator, that identify the tendency of two or more systems are coupled together to undergo closely related motions. The nonlinear scheme is feedback procedure that links the choice of a Lyapunov function with the design of a controller. The nonlinear control method is effective and convenient to synchronize identical systems. Numerical simulations are also given to illustrate and validate the synchronization results derived in this paper.
