Abstract :
In this particular paper we have described an algorithm for synergistic segmentation of endoscopic ulcer images of the patient. Suppose a small number of user-labeled pixels are given, then the rest of the image is segmented automatically by using a Grow cut method. User can keep a keen watch on the segmentation evolution and direct the algorithm with human input where the segmentation is difficult to calculate. In specific areas, where the segmentation or the partition is faithfully computed automatically, no extra effort by the user is required. The outcomes of segmentation of the ulcer images acquired by endoscopy are presented.
