Abstract :
Using image processing, the determination can be made more accurate and easier. The scanned or just a photo of the crop from a handheld device like a smartphone is given as an input. The image is corrected from culpabilities like noise, blur etc. and is sharpened. The sharpened image is fed in and analysed. The RGB values are estimated. The green pigment values are then compared with a preconceived LCC and hence the amount of K, N and P is determined along with the strength of the seedling. Thus the yield can be increased and the farmer´s resources are not wasted.
