Abstract :
With the development of multimedia technology, 4K resolution standards become a trend. However video transmission can´t get a good communication effect using the existing codec scheme such as H.264 under the low bandwidth. This paper put forward a new method, detect interested area based on content in the process of video transmission, and reduce the amount of information from the sending device to the receiving device through the transmission of video frames and interested area characteristic information in advance. Using the content based lossy compression algorithm to further compressed video, maximum reduce bandwidth consumption.
