Abstract :
We propose an electro-optically chirped arrayed-waveguide grating for adaptive chromatic dispersion control. Simulations show /spl plusmn/4460 ps/nm compensation for a 8.8 mm active-section length LiNbO/sub 3/ device. Typical operating voltage is <10 V with 10 /spl mu/m electrode spacing.
