Abstract :
A simple OADM based on X-crossing InGaAsP-InP vertical coupler filters is demonstrated. Laterally separated input and output waveguides is achieved using a wafer bonding technique and double side wafer processing. Sidelobe level of /spl sim/26 dB and coupling efficiency of 97% are achieved for OADM with X-crossing angle of 0.25.
