A novel data type for the protocol of data synchronization

Mobile Internet needs applications, especially the "killer applications". Data synchronization is one of the key concepts behind much of today\´s computing systems and networking protocols and it is one of the most important services of mobile Internet that can bring a new experience to users. A novel Chinese data type called vMobile Chinese data type based on XML for the protocol of data synchronization is introduced in this paper, and China Mobile Internet Application protocol Special Group (CMIS) has adopted it as a standard. After introducing the SyncML protocols, in this paper, we focus on the introduction of vMobile data type and its elements, which can be transmitted, using SyncML between two arbitrary devices that need to synchronize the personal data each other.
