Abstract :
Mobile learning represents exciting new frontiers in education and pedagogy. However, students graduating with mobile computing based degree could potentially have less flexibility to work in different areas of the organization. In recent years fostering entrepreneurship has become a topic of highest priority in collegiate education. In fact, entrepreneurship education has been intensified in universities during the past four decades. In this work, we report experience and lessons learned in incorporating entrepreneurship content to a mobile computing course. The course primarily focused on introduction to mobile computing, mobile invention, innovation, and entrepreneurship. This work will briefly review the content, learning outcomes, and current status of this class with specific examples presented to support the past and present program changes. The latest methods and results of our quantitative and qualitative assessment of student learning will also be presented. We believe this work will help to advance the understanding of engaging students with technological background into entrepreneurship content, in order to prepare students for today´s rapidly growing and changing computer technological jobs.
