Abstract
This paper describes the Remote View system developed by the former Technical Integration Services directorate of the Defense Information Systems Agency. The system facilitates performance analysis of theater-wide Internet protocol circuits by integrating disparate sources of traffic and topology data from different organizations throughout the theater to provide a consolidated view of network health. It is a capability that derived from requirements associated with working in an active, operational military environment with rapidly changing network conditions. United States Central Command relied on Remote View to help manage the unprecedented expansion of their networks during Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom, and they continue to use it today.
