Abstract
Element free Galerkin method (EFGM) is hard to handle the boundary and interface conditions. The paper treated these conditions by using visibility criterion and an alterative Lagrange multipliers technique. This proposed method avoids using interpolation basis function comparing the traditional Lagrange multipliers method, and is more comfortable to deal with complex boundary condition or three-dimensional issue. We applied the scheme to the analysis of 2D and 3D static electromagnetic model with inhomogeneous medium. It validates the proposed model against benchmarked FEMs. This paper demonstrates the efficacy of the proposed method by applying it to a range of problems.
