Abstract :
In this paper, we present an attempt to improve EEG event related potential (ERP) responses with an ambisonic environment for a dynamic-sound spatial auditory brain-computer interface (BCI) paradigm, which is based on moving in an auditory space sound images. We present results obtained from the both psychophysical and EEG online BCI experiments with the proposed dynamic spatial sound. The results are validated based on the five user brainwave analyses. The online classification of the P300 response proves the reliability of the proposed method and it confirms advantages of such system compared to the state-of-the art auditory static sound-based spatial auditory BCI paradigms.
