Abstract
This paper presents the design and implementation of a miniaturized dual band hybrid operating at two arbitrary frequencies. The hybrid is realised by adding quarter wavelength stubs to the conventional single section hybrid. The folded stub approach is used to miniaturize the size of this hybrid. The hybrid was designed and fabricated for S and C band with centre frequencies at 2.35 GHz and 4.6 GHz respectively with a bandwidth of 200 MHz in each band. The measured results are in very close agreements with the simulated results.
