Distributed generation in Austria — specific insights

The vision of distribution networks in Europe with a high penetration of Distributed Generation (DG) and its advantages and barriers is of strong interest for all participants in the electricity market. The EU supports research activities on the DG topic, so the cluster “Integration of RES + DG” with the associated projects “DGFACTS” and “DISPOWER". Verbundplan is partner in both projects and presents its findings on the specific situation in Austria, by introducing measurement results, the status quo and future opportunities.
