Abstract :
A general monitoring system based on B/S software structure is designed to achieve real-time monitoring of railway. Data communication server, web server and database server are built by using ASP.NET and database technology. Co-working with the data-acquisition units placed in turnouts, the three servers mentioned above make it possible for all users who have permission to monitor the running condition of target in real time through Internet. Furthermore, the system can also be used as the data source to analyze the running trend of the target, because of the functions of storing and analyzing data. The system has been deployed in an experimental railway, and the correctness of design idea and the feasibility of monitoring method have been initially proved with the test results.
