Title :
Solve thermal issues earlier for battery charger station
Abstract :
With charging current increase, we will face battery stop charging issue easily with ID constrain. In order to solve potential thermal issues of battery charger station in early stage. Early and easy thermal assessment, which can now be completed in the stages before detailed routing, helps to alleviate potential problems by CFD. It is allowed us to understand the system temperature distribution which can use to find out the critical concern point and find out a proper solution if we well know the flow & thermal field. Through study PCB size, sharp, vent on housing, component placement and heat spreader effect in this paper, it is successful to solve potential thermal issues in concept design stage by implementing & reserving some potential/optional thermal solutions for battery charger station in the early design phase.
