Abstract
This paper investigates the pipelining of a lattice wave digital filter composed of second order allpass sections implemented with twoport adaptors. Since it is a recursive structure, special care is required when pipelining is applied to achieve maximum clock and sample rates. A novel pipelining scheme, that exploits regularity of data flow, is presented and applied to the cases where carry ripple and carry save techniques are used in the implementation of the adaptor arithmetic. The results show improved sample rates
