Abstract
In this paper, a small scale wind generator with permanent magnet synchronous machine is modeled experimentally. This small scale wind generator is connected to the DC microgrid through three-phase diode bridge and DC/DC converter. A control of DC/DC converter by nested loops can properly control the electrical parameters of the system. A simple and robust maximum power point tracking method using a speed rotation estimator to extract the maximum energy is used and validated experimentally.
