Abstract :
This paper describes the design of the Video Caption Markup Language (VCML) and the development of a VCML player. The VCML player can control the playing of video data, displaying captions and image data according to a VCML document. Timing information for displaying captions in an initial VCML document is generated using a time alignment module. Experimental results show the good performance of the time alignment module
