Abstract
We demonstrate 1.55-mum InAs/InGaAsP/InP (100) quantum dot (QD) shallow and deep etched Fabry-Perot and ring lasers, micro-ring lasers, mode-locked lasers, Butt-joint integrated lasers, polarization control of gain, and wavelength conversion in QD amplifiers.
