Abstract :
This paper presents the models used in Forg´Induc software to describe the behavior of resonant inverters used in an induction heating device. The frequency adaptation and the power supply limitations are taken into consideration and the relationship between the induction coil and the power supply are explained. This software is used in forging industry to optimize the induction furnaces heating semi-products before forging them.
