Abstract :
The human face has important information, such as eyes, expression and facial pose. To construct the interface using visual information, recognition is indispensable. The first point to be considered is the accurate extraction method of human faces from images with many kinds of background. In this paper, we propose an extraction method for human faces using the subspace method and genetic algorithm, then report the experimental results to be obtained
