Abstract :
This paper deals with a new EMG based man-machine interface called VAMPIRE-BAT/WASPS. It is not only a high performance wireless EMG measuring instrument but also a stimulant device using high voltage electricity. Therefore, we can build bi-directional man-machine interface using VAMPIRE-BAT/WASPS. One of its interesting features is "pin-point feedback" that means the electric stimulation is applied exactly at the same point of EMG measuring. The authors consider that this feature helps to realize more intuitive interfaces than conventional ones. In this paper, the authors firstly introduce their new development then show some experimental results to verify its potential availability.
