Notice of Retraction
After careful and considered review of the content of this paper by a duly constituted expert committee, this paper has been found to be in violation of IEEE´s Publication Principles.

At the crack tip, the Joule heating effect causes a high temperature area to be detected by thermal sensing equipments. It is noted that the magnitude of the external electric current will affect the detection. It is easy to detect the temperature variation and the hot spot at the crack tip when the external electric current is large enough.
