Abstract :
The INTEGRAL satellite was launched on the 17th of October 2002 and instruments on board work very well. In this paper, we will focus on the ISGRI CdTe gamma ray camera of the IBIS telescope that produces high quality images and spectra of the gamma ray sky between 15 keV and 1 MeV. This camera consists of 16384 CdTe crystals, providing a high statistics and allowing us to assess for the first time the long-term behavior of a huge amount of CdTe detectors in use on a highly eccentric orbit. We will present the global behavior of the CdTe camera, the monitoring of detector performances and the effect of the environment on the detectors and front-end electronics, and consequently on the scientific output.
