Abstract
A new method is presented for efficient computation of the matrix elements in the method of moment (MOM) solution of electromagnetic problems. This method is based on expressing the free space Green´s function as a finite series of plane waves. In this way, the surface integrals involved can be obtained analytically as closed form expressions. Using this method, the complexity of filling the matrix is reduced from O(N/sup 2/) to O(N).
