Abstract :
The fast inhomogeneous plane wave algorithm (FIPWA) is another approach of the diagonal factorization of the Green´s function which is represented by infinite integration. We discuss the error analysis in terms of the truncation of the integration path and the indispensable extrapolation process. Finally, this algorithm is shown to be error controllable.
