Abstract :
The dual circuit of Cockcroft-Walton (CW) circuit is proposed as the multistage Class DE current driven low di/dt rectifier. The dual circuit of CW circuit naturally satisfies Class E switching condition. The equations of diodes and inductors waveforms are obtained at any diode on-duty ratio using the same scheme for Class DE rectifier. Moreover, the simulation and the experimental results are presented. Theoretical, simulation, and experimental results were in good agreement. The proposed circuit is suitable for low voltage and large current power sources.
