Abstract :
We present a novel idea to combine agent technology and cloud computing for monitoring an energy system. We describe how a cloud infrastructure can be useful in storing and processing near real-time sensor data. This paper also presents the implementation of the cloud computing capability as Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and reporting capabilities in cloud throughout a network of worker role and procedural assemblies. This system generates alarms based on various conditions emerging from the sensor data of an energy generation system.
