  • Abstract
    To solve the problems of difficulty in denoising of aero-optical degraded image due to aero-optical effects, a denoising algorithm based on improved Nonsubsampled Contourlet transform (NSCT) is proposed. Firstly, improved NSCT disassembly was constructed; secondly, adaptive edge orientation, fusion and repair were done. Based on this, denoising of non-edge pixel of aero-optical degraded image was finished. For large numbers of aero-optical degraded images, the experimental results show that this algorithm is better in denoising and preserving detail. To some extent, aero-optical degraded image is deblurred and image quality is restored. Meantime, complexity of this algorithm is lower, so, its real time is better.
