Abstract
This paper presents a simple encryption technique that uses different generalized discrete maps to achieve better performance. A summary of the generalized logistic, tent and sine maps is presented where one of the main advantages of the generalized maps is the extra parameters. Those extra parameters increase the system degrees of freedom, enrich the performance and expand the chaotic range. The presented three generalized maps have 13 parameters and initial conditions and can be used to construct an effective encryption key. Three different map combinations are investigated with the results of their security analysis, NIST test suite and sensitivity analysis.
