Abstract :
A new Σ-Σ-Δ modulation algorithm for A/D & D/A converter is proposed which requires a much lower sampling rate than Σ-Δ modulation. The key feature of the proposed Σ-Σ-Δ modulation is that the encoder recursively encodes the analog input sample with the fewest number of bits according to the Shannon-Elias method
