Abstract
Hearing impairment is one of the most common disorders in children. However, the hearing impairment is difficult to be monitored due to the limited availability of test equipments and trained specialists in many developing countries. The purpose of this study is to develop a novel method for quick hearing assessment of school-aged children. The proposed method is easy use and does not need to be operated by trained staff. Therefore, the parents or school nurses can routinely monitor the hearing level for the school-aged children. The proposed method could therefore be useful in monitoring progressive hearing change in a home-care setting.
