Establishment and application of evaluation index system of a low carbon economy

With more and more attention paid to low-carbon economy, as a country with large carbon dioxide emissions, China attaches much importance to the development of low-carbon economy. Firstly, a low-carbon economy evaluation index system is established in this paper in order to fully reflect the comprehensive development of low-carbon economy. Then the Delphi method is used to determine the index layer of index weight and the linear weighting method is employed to get the comprehensive index of low-carbon economy. Finally, we take 6 cities in economic zone of Shandong Peninsula for sample to evaluate the carbon content in the economic development of the region specifically with a view to providing a basis for decision-making of future development.
