Abstract :
An efficient decoding algorithm for space-time turbo codes with full antenna diversity is proposed. In order to calculate the joint log-likelihood ratio efficiently, we propose a fast algorithm for reducing the computational complexity of the conventional sub-optimum algorithms. The efficient implementation of the joint log-likelihood ratio update in the proposed algorithm improves its computational efficiency. Complexity analysis and extensive computer simulations over the Rayleigh fading channel show the efficiency of the proposed algorithm.
