Abstract :
The push-up motion is one of the essential activities of patients with spinal cord injuries (SCI). The authors measured three dimensional floor reactions of both hands in 27 SCI subjects. The shoulder torque and the hip torque calculated by using a mechanical model, were parameters of the power of the push-up motion. The skill of the push-up motion can be characterized by the anteroposterior force
