Abstract
This paper aims to reach the core of the “innovative enterprise” concept. The concept shall be redefined and the intellectual creation thesaurus shall be at its core. Further on, there are a series of practical considerations aimed to define the “virtual innovation workshop”. “The virtual innovation workshop” is the mean the authors propose for building, updating and developing the intellectual creation thesaurus. From a functional point of view, the virtual workshop is an occasional activity, requested by the enterprise management and attached to activators specialised for the actual enterprise structure. Further on, we analyse the subsidiary effects of the generated intellectual creation thesaurus, mainly on the lifelong learning of the enterprise´s personnel. The conclusions emphasise the exceptional importance of an original solution allowing for the innovative enterprise to become a predictable and assessable entity under the free market economic climate.
