Abstract :
The design of a 140GHz gyrotron oscillator operated in the circular TE22,6 mode is presented. Results of simulations with nonlinear theory code show that the gyrotron can generate peak power of 1.6MW at 140GHz when utilized a 80kV, 40A, ν=1.4 electron beam, and the gyrotron operates stably in the operating mode.
