Abstract :
With the increase in power and miniaturization of TWTs, the thermal analysis of collector becomes necessary. Using the finite element method, a software package Thermal Simulator (TS) which is a part of Microwave Tube Simulator Suite (MTSS) and can be used for thermal analysis of collector was developed. To validate TS, numerical results for a one-stage collector are shown compared with ANSYS.
