Abstract :
The design of electron-optical system for 0.14THz folded-waveguide traveling-wave tube was introduced in this paper. A prototype flow-through tube was welded to test beam transmission rate. The test result indicated that beam transmission rate reached 97% with electron gun voltage 14kV, current 24mA and beam channel diameter 0.26mm. The study certificated the design reliability of electron-optical system with sub-millimeter beam-channel at THz frequency range.
