Abstract :
Our buildings in China are usually both in low energy efficiency and a high cost of heating. In our country about 50% - 60% energy consumption is spend on heating and air-conditioning in buildings. This article uses the computer simulation software DeST - c, and analyses regional climate characteristics, the office environmental situation in Jinan. Then it simulates an old building in the center of Jinan and calculates its heat load in winter, cooling load in summer and the energy consumption. After that it analyzes the influences of heat retention lagging and air layer to the energy-saving in buildings. The Simulated results can give the designers some new methods of calculating and operating the energy consumption´s dates, charts of Jinan area.
