Abstract :
Magnesium ammonium phosphate (MAP) crystallization method is a new and high-efficiency technique to remove ammonia nitrogen and phosphorus from wastewater. The MAP can be recovered and used as slow-released fertilizer or industrial chemical, and the wastewater recycling is achieved by this method. There are a few studies of MAP crystallization reactor at home and abroad. In this paper, the mechanism, features and advances of traditional crystallization reactor are discussed, the structural features and applying effects of various kinds of crystallization reactor used in the research and the production of MAP are reviewed in details, and some developmental suggestions are given for further study.
