Abstract
Database insecurity is the biggest problem today because database software is riddled with holes. Databases are an easy target because they store important data that can be use for identity theft, credit card fraud, competitive intelligence and national security information. Databases are targeted through direct access from the Internet and SQL injection in Web applications.
